This paper considers thermochemical recuperation (TCR) of waste-heat using natural gas reforming by steam and combustion products. Combustion products contain steam (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and ballast nitrogen (N2). Because endothermic chemical reactions take place, methane steam-dry reforming creates new synthetic fuel that contains valuable combustion components: hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), and unreformed methane (CH4). There are several advantages to performing TCR in the industrial furnaces: high energy efficiency, high regeneration rate (rate of waste-heat recovery), and low emission of greenhouse gases (CO2, NOx). As will be shown, the use of TCR is significantly increasing the efficiency of industrial furnaces – it has been observed that TCR is capable of reducing fuel consumption by nearly 25%. Additionally, increased energy efficiency has a beneficial effect on the environment as it leads to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.  相似文献

Dairy bull fertility is traditionally evaluated using semen production and quality traits; however, these attributes explain only part of the differences observed in fertility among bulls. Alternatively, bull fertility can be directly evaluated using cow field data. The main objective of this study was to investigate bull fertility in the Italian Brown Swiss dairy cattle population using confirmed pregnancy records. The data set included a total of 397,926 breeding records from 1,228 bulls and 129,858 lactating cows between first and fifth lactation from 2000 to 2019. We first evaluated cow pregnancy success, including factors related to the bull under evaluation, such as bull age, bull inbreeding, and AI organization, and factors associated with the cow that receives the dose of semen, including herd-year-season, cow age, parity, and milk yield. We then estimated sire conception rate using only factors related to the bull. Model predictive ability was evaluated using 10-fold cross-validation with 10 replicates. Interestingly, our analyses revealed that there is a substantial variation in conception rate among Brown Swiss bulls, with more than 20% conception rate difference between high-fertility and low-fertility bulls. We also showed that the prediction of bull fertility is feasible as our cross-validation analyses achieved predictive correlations equal to 0.30 for sire conception rate. Improving reproduction performance is one of the major challenges of the dairy industry worldwide, and for this, it is essential to have accurate predictions of service sire fertility. This study represents the foundation for the development of novel tools that will allow dairy producers, breeders, and artificial insemination companies to make enhanced management and selection decisions on Brown Swiss male fertility.  相似文献

A straightforward, one-step route has been established to fabricate reduced- (rGO) and nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide (NrGO) with remarkable lithium-ion storage properties. The graphene oxide (GO) was synthesized as starting material by improved Hummers’ method. Thereafter, thermally annealing GO with NH3 at elevated temperature to synthesize NrGO was yielded a more open structure with nitrogen sites suitable for enhanced Li intercalation. NrGO exhibited a reversible capacity of 240 mAhg?1 at 10 Ag-1 after 500 cycles with 90% capacity retention, which is the best result achieved among graphene oxide-based anodes at this current density. In contrast to rGO, NrGO cells exhibited a gradually increasing capacity profile, reaching up to 114% of the initial capacity at 0.1, 2, and 10 Ag-1 current densities. Results showed that high occupancy of pyridinic N within NrGO enhanced battery performance and cell kinetics upon cycling which offers long-time operability at high current density.  相似文献

In the present article, series of experiments were conducted to investigate turbulent explosion characteristics of stoichiometric syngas (with different hydrogen concentrations, 10%‐90% in volume fraction) in a 28.73‐L spherical turbulent premixed explosion system. The evolution of explosion pressure was recorded in different turbulent environment (with different turbulent intensity, 0.100‐1.309 m/s in root mean square value of velocity fluctuation). From the explosion pressure historic curves, the maximum pressure, lag duration, and explosion duration were obtained; the pressure rise rate and fast burn duration were derived; and deflagration index could be further calculated. The interaction effects of turbulent intensity and hydrogen addition on those explosion parameters were systematically analysed and discussed. Based on the results, an empirical formula about deflagration index of stoichiometric syngas was established.  相似文献

上海、浙江和江苏等地陆续出台了两部制电价制度,以期解决天然气发电(以下简称气电)企业成本高、经营困难等问题。为了研究该电价制度对气电企业盈利能力的影响,在对比分析上述三地电价政策和实施效果的基础上,基于不同类型机组的三大经营指标(项目财务内部收益率、经济净现值、动态投资回收期),采用项目经济性分析模型探究了不同类型燃气电厂的经济性。研究结果表明:①现行两部制电价与单一制电价相比,电价水平小幅度下降,给企业经营带来了一定的冲击,但从长远看,则有利于形成可持续的发展机制;②两部制电价是各地政府经过充分调研和测算后根据该区具体情况制定的,在该政策下多数企业处于盈亏平衡点附近,综合条件优、管理水平高的企业能取得一定的盈利,反之则亏损;③当电量电价一定且大于盈亏平衡点时,企业效益随年利用小时数的增加而提升,反之则随年利用小时数的增加而降低。结论认为:①两部制电价能起到促进企业管理和技术水平提升,引导和鼓励电力投资的作用,符合我国电力体制改革的方向;②政策制定时应针对不同时期建成的项目加以区别对待,实现上网电价、天然气价格和供热蒸气价格的"三个联动";③应建立大数据平台,实行气网、电网联合调度;④发电企业应创新管理,降低电厂建设及维护成本,提升机组效率,降低气耗。  相似文献

球磨过程中介质群运动状态变化对物料的破碎效率影响极大,通过对介质群运动状态进行区域划分,探究不同球磨工况下的介质群运动区域特征更能有效揭示介质群对物料的破碎方式和有效破碎区域。针对理论划分介质群运动区域过于理想、单一,试验追踪法成本过高的问题,提出了一种介质群运动区域划分的新方法-EDEM网格划分法。首先把筒体的横截面划分为若干个微元,利用数理统计的方法得到介质群位置概率分布函数,获取介质群运动速度区域分布图和碰撞特性区域分布图。然后给出了回转运动、螺旋运动及复合颤振运动三种工况下介质群运动区域的划分实例,并与试验追踪法对比,验证了EDEM网格划分法的准确性和有效性。最后通过粉磨试验中进料的破碎速率和微细颗粒产率探讨了介质群运动区域特性对颗粒的破碎方式和有效破碎区域的影响效果。本研究为优化球磨过程的影响因素和操作参数提供了一种快捷、有效的方法。  相似文献

对煤的自燃倾向进行快速有效鉴别,有助于对煤的自燃倾向采取分级分类管理从而有效防治煤矿火灾,因而采用绝热式自燃测试方法对煤的自燃倾向进行准确分析很有必要。简要介绍绝热式自燃测试方法的测试原理及其仪器结构,模拟煤炭自燃的物理过程,通过采用包括反应器、气体预热铜管和跟踪温度控制方式等综合绝热措施以实现300 g煤样的自然发火实验,记录煤样从40℃上升到70℃的升温速率(或前30 h的升温速率),测试煤样的自燃特性曲线并分析曲线特征。即建立煤绝热氧化产热速率计算模型,结合实验数据计算所得的煤在绝热氧化条件下的升温速率和产热速率可鉴定煤自燃倾向性的强弱。采用绝热式自燃测试方法对不同煤的自燃倾向分析后表明,无烟煤和部分烟煤的自燃倾向较低,褐煤的自燃倾向较高,故而在煤矿开采时需特别注意褐煤的自燃倾向。  相似文献

Here, a pH neutral aqueous organic redox flow battery (AORFB) consisting of three electrolytes channels (i.e., an anolyte channel, a catholyte channel, and a central salt water channel) to achieve integrated energy storage and desalination is reported. Employing a low cost, chemically stable methyl viologen (MV) anolyte, and sodium ferrocyanide catholyte, this desalination AORFB is capable of desalinating simulated seawater (0.56 m NaCl) down to 0.023 m salt concentration at an energy cost of 2.4 W h L?1 of fresh water—competitive with current reverse osmosis technologies. Simultaneously, the cell delivers stored energy at 79.7% efficiency with a cell voltage of 0.85 V. Furthermore, the cell is also capable of higher current operation up to 15 mA cm?2, providing 4.55 mL of fresh water per hour. Combining energy storage and water desalination into such a bifunctional device offers the opportunity to address two growing global issues from one hardware installation.  相似文献

A wastewater desalination system based on a low‐temperature air source heat pump was developed and studied in this paper. The system consists of 2 main parts: the wastewater flow process and the heat pump cycle. A series of experiments were conducted on the system under different conditions, and the effect of the evaporation temperature was investigated. This system can reach equilibrium at any evaporation temperature using the combination of the compressor and vacuum pump. To treat wastewater with low boiling point organic matter, the system was operated at a low evaporation temperature of 48°C. The organic matter remained in the concentrated wastewater, and the organic removal was approximately 97%. Three kilograms of treated water was produced in 1 hour with an energy consumption of 250 W. The performance ratio (PR) obtained from the experiments ranged from 4.6 to 7.3. The cost for treating 1 kg of water was 0.038 yuan CNY assuming 0.5 yuan CNY per kWh at the compressor frequency of 50 Hz.  相似文献
